I’m so excited and grateful to make this special publishing announcement. My 2016 debut book series has found a new home with Sourcebooks Fire!
Sourcebooks is republishing my books—under new titles, new covers, and newly edited for a wider audience in SUMMER 2023!
This is a rare event. Books are usually only traditionally published once. They usually don’t get a second chance.
So how did it happen?!
In the fall, I requested and received all my creative rights back to the Holoseries from my small press, deeming the two books out of print. My initial intention was to self-publish the series online since the books weren’t readily available in bookstores anyway. Plus, I wanted my film rights back since they were sitting idle.
Instead, after a conversation with my agent, we took a long shot and decided to pitch the series to Sourcebooks since I had a great relationship with them in the past. And the rest is history!
Sourcebooks offered me a two-book publishing deal, with the option of a possible third book in the series!
I’m editing the previous books based on early fan feedback, so expect the unexpected. I’ve been set loose by my new editor, Annette Pollert-Morgan. Perhaps I’m adding deleted scenes, new scenes, different deaths…(cue evil laughter). What an amazing opportunity as a writer to literally time travel back and edit my work from 2015 for a new 2023 audience. And strangely enough, the series feels more relevant than ever with the current state of the world.

To the early fans of my debut series, thank you so much for your enthusiasm. It absolutely made this possible, propelling my books to the next level. I am forever grateful to you for reading and sharing the books with others.
